I agree with you in regard to website. It is brilliant. I also visit the Temple of the Dark Moon, (which i am a member of and doing studies through) which is a great site because it is designed for the southern hemisphere - especially since a lot of pagan literature is written in the Northern Hemisphere and our seasons down here are all the opposite! I just had a quick look at your profile and can also understand your love for the Mother land, my vision is to one day visit the U.K simply for the history. N.Z is such a new country in comparison so the history is not as rich for me. But, hey, let me introduce myself. I am 34 years old and a mother of two teens I work in retail but have taken a year out to study business admin. My interests are herbology, crystal healing, reading, gardening and sitting in ths shade of the trees with a glass red wine and some chocolate =] I also am a solitary practioner of Wicca. I thought I would add this intro as my profile doesn't have any comment on me. I too will look forward to any postings on the site but as i am a new member there is a feast of reading there already...how great!!

Wow, I hadn't appreciated the differences in the southern hemisphere. That has to be annoying. Good you have a site that's tailored to you though! Well, I'm a 32 yr old with one son (8 yrs). I was born in America, but have lived in the UK for 11 years now. I love it here! I'm currently studying for a BSc in Herbal Medicine (which I LOVE) and am interested in learning about ancient esoteric wisdom. I've just been reading a bit about good ol King Solomon and his Grimoire which was meant to be one of the largest ever written. My great great great grandma was Cherokee Indian - hence the name. Though Im as far from looking Cherokee as you can get! Most of them didn't have red hair! I've been on the 'pagan' path for just over a year now. I'm learning a bit about Wicca, but am in the early stages. I would have to class myself as a solitary practitioner, but sometimes my son and boyfriend ask to take part in my rituals - which is nice. Right, I best get back to work! Lovely to meet you! I hope we can exchange herbal remedies and pagan knowledge!
